The Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF) renewed the memorandum of understanding that it had signed with its counterpart in Ivory Coast in January 2022, which expired at the beginning of this year, in the presence of the presidents of the two federations, Yasser bin Hassan Al-Meshal and Idriss YacineDiallo, where the agreement renewal ceremony took place at the SAFF’s headquarters in Riyadh.
The memorandum of understanding between the Saudi and Ivorian federations aims to continue strengthening cooperation between the two federations, in a way that serves football in the two countries by gaining expertise in football-related fields.
For his part, the President of the SAFF congratulated his Ivorian counterpart on the occasion of his country’s success in organizing the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations and crowning their team with the cup.
Al-Meshal confirmed that the renewal of the memorandum of understanding with the Ivorian Federation comes within the plans of the SAFF to strengthen the partnership with federations in the various continents, praising the distinguished relations between the Saudi Federation and federations on the African continent.
On the other hand, the President of the Ivorian Football Federation expressed his pride in renewing the memorandum, praising the efforts of the Saudi Federation to exchange experiences with local federations around the world.
